I wish I knew when Chi2k6 was gonna be... I gotta start cleaning on the ol' turd a week or so sooner than I started last year. I think I'm gonna ride up alone this year though, skip the drags... since the mk4 guys pretty much did, lol... What we need at chi2k6 is a BIGASS swap meet. That would make my day... I need to get rid of a lot of my crapp

Hey just saw this thread and I am up for an MK3 mini-meet.

I like the Vegas idea - road trip tour to Vegas with a bunch of MK3's filling the road. But realistically keeping it in the midwest would make it a weekend deal and much more feasable for all.

All I know is MDC should hand out freebies and the Dr. will autograph them LOL

oooooooh man, sorry if this will offend anyone, but in my eyes...i visualize 10-15 mk3's meeting up, things goin good, headin towards vegas...and by the halfway point there are 4 people in each supra, only 6-7 cars driving....my point i am making is that what if cars break down? :(...and sadly enough i am including mine lol. i say we keep it midwest :)

also, i might add in that having a "SWAP" portion of the meet is an excellent idea. for anybody who has friends following along, they can always carry your parts in their cars:) or maybe not..but you get my point.

Well we'd have to know the supra community well and what city help is in and plan around that. That way we have shops and checkpoints to maintain our cars in the cities we pass? :) Worst case would be stopping at some unknown garage or parts store for help, but that's what makes the trip exciting right? :)

This is also why we have "experts" come as well! :)

Or bring the parts you need to actually make the trip and "maybe" use them LOL

I just found this thread. I am able to set up a meet here in MN. The fairgrounds here is willing to let us meet here. It's in Washington county which is on the MN/WI border just off of I-94. We can take up the cost of the fairgrounds at SupraSport.com, and we work closely with most of the import shops in Minneapolis/St.Paul area.
Just a thought, let me know if you guys are interested at all
