Sure you could stay down there for as long as you want... :icon_bigg It wouldnt be so bad sleepin in your car with the window cracked. It might not be too healthy though. lol

Yeh idk, it becomes hard for some people to get together on multiple days for a mini meet, but if enough can then it could work but might be inconvienent for some.

I'd be up for the multi-day meet, I just don't know what we would be doing... you could always swing by my place and take some of these damn spare parts I got with you. As far as lodging goes, I could probably get you a bed at my place... Mom and Dad are gonna start trucking next spring. :nono: friggin losers, lol.

Also, tell yer buddy I know where he can get a good running reliable mkIII turbo... not far from where the meet will be. I need to sell the turd, so he wouldn't have to wait until the meet. If he's interested, tell him to give me a call (812) 591-3434 , just thought I would throw that out there.

at IRP it was pretty much run to your hearts content. I think it's that way most places regardless of policies, unless it's really crowded. I think it was $25... :icon_bigg

okay, for all that wondered, to run at IRP (Indianapolis Raceway Park)...it is $14 to run all day(until closed)...and $7 to watch the runs. Also, not too far away from the track is Modern Speed Labs...which, of course, HAS A DYNO. The normal pay is $75 for 3 pulls...which is still a pretty good deal (compared to some)...and I've heard in the past that with large groups (such as us, hopefully), they will allow 3 pulls for $40. I dunno though...just some options and info! Remember, get the word around! I'd like to participate in a real meet with a lot of people! :) cya guys

drjonez- i'll agree with you to an extent...meaning that i wouldn't spend my money to TT a IS300...BUT...unless you have moola out the @$$, TT is300...can be mean as hell. but in my opinion...i'd rather go w/ an MKIII and build on it.

(oh yeah...IS300 is FWD, if i recall?...well if he "converted" to an Altezza...that would be much better :)

clearly you're missing the point.

1. the IS300 IS an altezza, just w/the 2JZGE (yes, it's RWD).

2. the 2JZGE has a different exhaust and intake port config than the 2JZGTE, therefore making bolting up the 2JZGTE's twins impossible- you'll need an adaptor plate or a custom manifold. the amount of work needed to do this would equal or exceed the cost of just buying an existing kit.....and then there's the whole power output thing- stock twins = 400 rwhp on a good day, the sky is the limit on a good single....

uhhh.... chi2k6 is a gimme. I think we need more than one meet in the summer though. I'll be having withdrawals come Feb.

hmmm.... could do a Sat at IRP, and Sunday..... uhh... We need to get MDC's ass in here, he lives in Indy practically so he knows a helluva lot more stuff than I do. I'd like Sunday to be a auto-X day, but I have no idea where the hell that could be done.
