How well does that setup work? I'd be worried about completely blinding oncoming traffic.

I adjusted the headlight assembly arm so that the headlights pop up partially when turned on. A "Pivot" sleepy eyes controller lets the headlights come down at the normal closed position when turned off.

The lighting system is made up of projector lenses that use HID lights (for low beam) and halogen high beam lamps. Unless high beam is on, the oncoming traffic is not blinded. Below is the low beam pattern; unfortunately the pic is bad.

Step 1: Turn on headlights
Step 2: Turn off headlights
Step 3: Turn knob one click while headlights are going down

I turn on the lights, they pop up partial height. I turn them off, they lower to the normal closed position. There is no step three.

That's not bad at all; better than I was expecting. Thanx for the pic.
