stock tails are under a grand form the dealer IIRC...

they need a set of mint tails I bet though...

I'd love to get some from them, wonder what the discount will be for donating a set of good stockers...

I have s pare set of pre 89 tails. I'm going to try and fabricate some. What LED pattern to you think would look best? I was thinking like a ferrari style starburst.
If it isn't too too hard I'll over the service to you guys. Hopefully I can find a design that will be acceptable to multiple patterns so if I and up selling them people can choose what style they want.

You have to also drop the power down on the LED's are they will be to bright, and that is illegal. I might try a set after my paint and stuff. (Which means next year...)

DAMN 2000 dollars for them DAMN

If you weight in your time and material, it cost that much. Well, that is depend on how much your time worth.
So far, it spend over 200 bucks for parts excluding hidden cost like electricity for solder, wires, .... and that is I get most of my leds in quantity discount.

That is what the job of the resistor. Higher resistance (less current flow) the led will be dimmer than low resistance (more current).
