I call :bsflag: on the Dealer installed claim. He might have told you that. But, the best I can see of the Supra script on it, it looks to be MKIV type style. If it were dealer installed it would almost certainly be in MKIII style.
Take another look at those images. That is not the MkIV logo.
The dealer would not likely have access to the original MkIII logo and would have to create something custom on their own. I still hold that this could have been done by a dealer - trying to replicate the look of the Porsche Targa.
I never said it was 100% done by a dealer but that dealers have been known to do things like this to make a sale.
Again... the text on the leather top is NOT the MkIV logo.
