Want to know how bad i am sitting. So what is done to the motor, bored. 17 over, copper ringed block, metal head gasket, arp bolts, brand new rebuilt. 57 ct26, lexus afm with lexus electronics, 550 injectors, fuel pressure set to 45psi. 2.5" straight pipe all the way back not enough room under my car for 3". What I am getting is 14.6-15.2 at idle, cruising no load 13.6-14.2, and 13.1-13.5 under boost wot 6-7lbs. I have the afm extended screw all the way in. There isn't any vacuum leaks. So is there something stupid I missed?
Trying to set the timing I am Also having issues, when I jump the t1 -e1 I get a code 51 starter signal but the timing will not move so I set it to 10 undo the jumper and drive, it doesn't miss but I would like to have everything dialed in!
Once I can get a maft-pro I will be going that route just the last 2 on eBay I have bid on I get out done!
I am not looking to beat this thing, just a daily driver I can put the smack down sometimes.
Sorry for the ramble if it makes or doesn't make sense let me know!
Thanks,
Dustin

Adjust the screw in more on the lex since your only running 6-7 lbs.

Also code 51 is tps. You will need to fix that first.

And how can you not fit 3in? I have 3in and I'm lower than most. I could fit 4in as well.

The motor is in 77 Celica , I do not have the starter signal wire hooked up so I figured that was the 51. I have checked and rechecked the tps on adjustment and it is always good maybe I need a new one, but I do get a cel while driving that will come on and then go of after a couple seconds randomly at anything throttle position, could the tps also cause it to run lean, I know I have read some people say the lexus electronins can cause it while others say no issues. The screw is all the way in, would upping the fuel be bad? And would the code 51 prevent me from setting the timing?
Thanks Dustin.

51 won't cause lean but the Lexus afm could. If your not running crazy high boost esp wth a stock turbo why not just use stock injectors and afm?

Pretty sure you can still use a 3in exhaust. I've seen v8 2j and 1j swap done in those all the time.

When I bought the motor it didnt come with the afm I had to buy one so I went with the lexus afm and it came with the electronics. just like the idea of being able to crank it up if the need be. as far as the exhaust no room between the firewall and steering linkage. I dont have the cash nor resources for rack and pinion or that would be the solution for me.
