how do you plan to adjust your fuel? it looks to simple... and ugly at that.. very expensive.. i bet my turbo timer could do a better job displaying the afr then that actualy,....

How accurate that display is depends on how it reads the A/F. From the sound of it, it uses one of the programmable outputs. As such it's not much more than a modified volt meter. It may use a serial interface, that would make it alot more reliable.

If you want cheap you could always build a graph display using two LM3904 dot/bar LED driver ICs and 20 LED's. How accurate that would be would depends on how accurate and how well filtered the reference voltage is.

I wouldn't get it in fear that it may do some type of damage to the LC-1 or void any warranty that it may have. It's just me, but I'd get the XD-16 gauge for your LC-1 ;).

It is a modified volt-meter. (moved the decimal.)

Innovate stuff comes with analog out, so these things are compatible.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's like 0-5v on the analog?

Isn't this simply a cheaper counterpart to the XD-16 gauge or am I totally overseeing something when it says it will work with the Innovate LM-1 or LC-1? They have the round style too, it's on their website.

nope.

the big deal w/the XD-16 is that it uses the serial (digital) communication from the LC-1 or the LM-1. that's why it's so much more expensive.

the ebay one is nothing more than a scaled voltmeter meant to connect to one of the analog outputs of the LC-1/LM-1. dig around on the internet, you can make your own for MUCH cheaper....or you can just buy innovate's version of that gauge (coming soon, called the DB gauge).

The XD-16 is also fully programmable with color changing LED's to set AFR numbers. :) Very cool.

Not to mention PEAK/HOLD which is really useful.
Your typical voltmeter style gauge can't do that.
