I drove 2,000 miles in a car with lambo doors and I will never do it to my own car... such a PITA.

Those pics like the doors get high enough for me. I'm not a small guy but i can fit in an S2000 just fine... with the top up! lol. I'd get a real universal set for $500 instead of FleaBay junk

Please dont. it doesnt look as bad as it does on a civic, but it still doesnt fit, and would never ever do it on my car.

besides like its been said the doors will never open like real lambo doors, they always open out like 3 inches then go up, and when you look at it from the front the doors are angled out to the sides at the top. even a lambo would look like crap with the doors sticking out at the top.

BUt Why! , PLease be mor clear

The pistons start to get weak and the effort you gotta put just to get the door out and up everytime you want to open it, gets tiring.
You start opening the door as far out as it will go before going up, and squeezing out to avoid this.

The hinges start to get sloppy and you gotta pull the door down, line it up with the hinge, then pull it in... or else it slams the hinge and dents the inside of the door.

Everyone, in every parking lot, ever, asks you about it.
Kind of like the turbo timer discussions(hey! your car's still running!) but much worse.

With our door handles you'd have to pop the door, push out, then grab something to put it in the up position, much easier to just pull the lever and push.

After the trip I really had an appreciation for conventional door operation.

Was that clear enough? Haha they look good for a show car, but this is why I'd never do it to my personal roadcar.

That green supra looked pretty sharp. I've never seen that car before..............

Aaron, you're a tall guy, so I don't know if this is the best thing for you, but like alot of people have said. It's your car, do with it what you want. Good luck. See you in October.

Someone on here bought one of the universal kits, and even with cutting the fenders it wouldn't fit.

S2 makes a kit, it's the one used on most of the cars pictured (IIRC).

You don't have to extend your wiring harness. You could always mount a couple of the contact plates they use in a lot of minivan doors.

My car's doors suck when I'm trying to get in or out of my car at work. If I have anything other than my laptop with me. Personally, I want sliding doors... minivan style.

I was planning on using them in conjunction with S2 carbon doors, wouldn't be heavy then. My car is pretty much a dedicated track car at this point but i still drive it to work from time to time to do work on it in the shop, so like i said i was mainly interested in doing it just to annoy my boss cuz he's a big all show-no go car builder yet he thinks they're gay, lol. So if he saw my track car with lambo doors, it'd get under his skin :D

I wouldn't put a set on my turbo, but I was thinking about putting them back on the Keylime machine, but I think I am just going to put factory hinges back on it, and then sell it to a Ricer....Lmao

The more I look at that thing, the uglier it gets to me. But there are lots of Ricer clubs in Huntsville, so I think it will sell pretty easy.... It is going to take alittle work to put it all back together though. And that guy has an ass kicking coming to him next time I go back to Arkansas, cause he stole the rims off of it, and put sawblades on it. :icon_evil

If he was suppose to leave the wheels on it, then you can put in a paypal dispute for that ammount. Just a thought. Good luck.

I haven't got rid of my clip yet. I'll talk to you about it later.
