Thanks marvin,i'll check what you said.Hopefully i'll put higher gas in and some fuel injector cleaner in and see what happens..
I think my fuel pump might be slowly getting ready to go.I could be wrong but after i fill the tank the needle fluxuates at times.ebay 2 049.jpg

have you done a compression check yet!??!!?!
a 'wet' compression can be done after the regular one, it involves putting a little bit of oil in the cylinder and doing the compression check again, if the PSI was low on the first one then higher on the second, its your rings. Fuel pumps dont slowly go, they generally work or dont.

ONE bottle of injector cleaner wont hurt, and just 87 octane man higher and your just wasting your money. I'd also check your cap/rotor, you can check your plugs when you do your compression check.

just start with the basics man, identify the problem before wasting money and jumping to conclusions.

I just borrowed my friends sniffer to see if i have a blown headgasket.the test came out negative:icon_razz:icon_razz:icon_razz:icon_razz:icon_razz.now i'm still wondering why smoke is still coming out my exhaust.she does'nt have the pickup like she used to.I'm baffeled:1zhelp:for some supra lovers, when i say sniffer i mean that i take this apparatus that has a black like thing that you squeeze like when the doctor takes your blood pressure.and it picks up a cent. The fluid that comes with the sniffer is a lightish green color.some might correct me on the name of this apparatus process and thanks if you do.But can someone tell me why i'm still lacking in power,i think the color of the smoke is a somewhat white.and when i'm at a stop light the car sounds like a 1970 something muscle car.and it shakes to.do i need to check my fuses aswell?

have you even checked your codes?
Yes dumbo i checked my codes and everything is fine.but still can't figure out how the sparkplugs can get oil on the bottom part that sticks into the cylinder head because the valve covers are loose.I believe that is true.Anyways i have the privilege of doing another headgasket job.i'm real excited in doing so:icon_razz.plus it gets me away from my supra hatting wife:biglaugh:Thats why my christine is acting funny. Thanks for all you guys help.

oil would only sit on top, but when you pull the plug oil runs down and appears to be on the inside of the cylinder. good luck so i guess the compression test didn't turn out to well...

no it did'nt,but dumbo you put it very nicely about how the oil apears to be coming from the cylinder and apear on the bottom of the sparkplug. My buddy told me that since i'm gona do another headgasket job i should change the pistons and rings. He also told me that i might be able to do that without taking the engine out do to i don't own a garage and don't own a engine hoist.Dumbo what is your opinion on that.do you think i can take or slide the oil pan and possibly replace the pistons and rings that way.SOMEBODY PLEASE SAY YES.:icon_razz

Yes. PITA to do. Rent a hoist.
I got nothing but time.do i have to remove the axle, cause if so i might reconsider.also i was looking on ebay for pistons and rings and they had a opton that they said something about oversized aswell.since i have 148 thousands miles on it i guess i should to that right?

i meant the oil runs down from the valve covers and pools around your spark plugs, then when you take the plug out it runs down them, and it appears to be coming from inside the cylineder.

agreed a big pain, gotta drop front crossmember just to get the pan out,

you gotta do a compression test atleast before you make a diagnosis, what do i know man i've never even seen your engine.

I knew what you ment by the oil dripping down, but thats what i thought .that would be alot of work to take off the cross member, dam.I'll have to lean toward the engine hoist then. Thanks for your knowledge:icon_bigg

Well if you want to do it right it should be taken to a machine shop that can size the bearings for you among other things, rings gapped, etc. and I'd have them put the bottom end together.
