Yes here it is. Ill list stuff here and take my meaningful posts from my spammed to hell one in a bit.

So it wont be updated like an IJ but I am starting to build my car up. Slowly and surely!

Lemme give you some background info on my soup.

September 14th... Two thousand-four... A wee young lad of only 15 goes to a goodguys car show and finds a little white car. He was there looking for a Camaro. And found one. But this little white car caught my eye. I look at the price tag and smile. 1500$! Amazing! I talk to the owner and get him to sell it to me for 1200. Owned.

Hers the catch. It was ass under the hood. I spent around a year getting this car to run as nice as it does now.

Replaced the valve cover gaskets... And thats about it. Generall maintinence and such.

Here is some info my my soup!
1987 (Manufactured in December 1986)[My baby is almost 20!]
Was orignally brown! (code 4h1) Is now some white color. Very bad paintjob
Hardtop
Non turbo
Mated to an A340e (not for long...) - W58 swapped!
Brown interior
No clue how many miles. Old dash board had 190k. But according to carfax it was rolled back in 1994 or so.
Has a badass whaletale esque spoiler.

So what do I plan upcoming? I want a nice DD pushing 300 horses. Turbo horses of course! I would love to build my own engine up but Ive only delt with old Ford V-8's so I woud love to have driftmotion build me a 7mgte. Hey who knows.

I plan on throwing some 89+ taillights and spoiler on there soon.
I want to mould a Turbo A duct to an 87 style bumper... Which I ned a new one. Rear bumper too!

My dad and I wnt to do my interior. He has done upholstry for 20+ years so were looking into ways of dyeing vinyl or just painting it.

What I have done already that im extremely happy about! Some HKS tems shocks and springs were installed! Im the only one I know about with this setup as they were taken from a early 90's HKS sponsered MA70.

Next week im swapping in a W58. Woot!

Ill post some good pics up soon! Basically a placeholder for somthing that will happen someday!:naughty:

I do plan on using a stock ct-26. I will have it upped to a .57 trim wheel by MDC when the time comes!

Also I will be running a MHG. I am not sure on the thickness becasue I dont want to throw off my compression ratio so Ill have to do measurements when I get the head and block machined!

Oh, And can't forget ARP hardware all around

Will I have thought of going MAF-T Pro, Im still undecided. I say no now, But thats because of my income (0$) (On a side note I am going to check on the status of my job oppertunity in 30 minuites or so...) But I think a MAF-T system would make everything much easier for me. I still need to do my research! Need a boost controller and a Turbo Timer still. But thats cheap used.

Rick
I emailed jon at MDC about turbo rebuild suggestions and he said that because of the lack of Ball Bearing test numbers he suggested me to the .57 trim and a 5x10 clip on the exhaust wheel!

So I think I want to add 2 things to a wishlist other than a Turbo A duct.

I would LOVE some Euro Spec Turn signals/Indicators
Or some European/Japanese electric folding mirrors! I would like to see how off the mirror angles are because of the LHD/RHD drive difference!

IJ In Australia are the mirrors fixed or folding(electric or manual)?

So from what I gather. Only US bound cars recieved Fixed mirrors + Electric adjustments.

Anyone have any word on Canadian cars?

I wonder how hard It would be to swap US spec mirrors into Manual/Electric folding houses... I like this idea :icon_bigg

Suze (with yellow MKIII) seemed to be the Aussie JDM (non NATO) hook-up. I would PM her for parts requests.

Ill have to give suze a ring. no point now since im moneyless!

I would love some JDM electric folders... But as stated Im not sure the neat electric folding action is worth the degraded visuial angle... I wanna know from someone who has tem if its really as bad as I am thinking

Well I know it will work. The mounting is exactly the same. But the thing is that the mirrors are at different angles to compensate for different driving positions. I just dont know how awkward it would be =/
