Hi all, i have a question about the KSport coilovers. I installed the fronts, after doing so i forgot that i did not adjust them more and guess what! they slammed the car so hard that the front subframe is only .5 inches from the gound hah! Looks hot but so not my style.

One of my questions is how the hell do you know which one is the left side? right side? front or rear?????

Take a look at the pics i have...

Question!! I was installing Earls brake lines, or atleast tried, what is that little peice in the middle? I can not put it thrut he bracket where the stock line went..... how do install the lines???

PS i love this f**king car! little to no rust!!! the bolts came out easy as helL! the longest part of this install was trying to put on the brake lines????!!! WTF??? all because of that bracket ont he spindal. Do i not use it?

Also, the coilovers i put on the front the top mount is a bit larger, the studs have a slight taper @ the top the other 2 coilovers have small diameter studs and they are not tapered. The top mount is slightly smaller too...

BUt when i looked at the stock suspension the fronts have no taper and the rears do???

The left and right are the same. You can tell the front and rear by the little bracket that is on the strut body for the brake line to attach to. The front gets those ones. At least mine had those little brackets.

Here's what mine look like. Also take note of the top of the strut. They are shaped different. 2 middle ones are the fronts and the outside ones are the rear.

18kg Front and 14kg Rear. I absolutely love them. I use my car for DD and I have it set on full soft and it rides very smooth. I put them on full hard and drove around and it was stiff as hell. Almost made me sick to my stomach.

The fronts will also have an M10 nut, vs a M8 on the rear. The rears shouldn't fit on the front as the bolt pattern is *just* slightly off but they can be forced in (whoops, I've done it once!). The fronts should have the front wheel speed sensor bracket though... If they don't then the only thing you can go on is the upper mount shape like AF1JZ said.

Shit, I totally forgot about that. That is actually how I figured it out before I realized what the bracket was for.

TaSe- Toby is talking about the 3 nuts that are on top of the strut. The fronts are the larger nuts while the rears are the smaller nuts (lol, that didn't sound right).

Well with my KSports the mounts are round (all 4). I will check out the size's of the nuts =P. I did not force them in at all, they just slid in perfectly no struggling at all. Kinda went together so fast i figured there had to be a problem lol. So far no ABS bracket confused on if i installed wrong. Thanks for your help
