Well im going to pick up the supra tomorrow.....or today, later on. Around 11am. But ill let you know how it went. Im probably gunna be able to drive it back. Its in CT. Well i wont drive it cuz i cant but one of my friends will. Anyway buh bye. :biglaugh:

nope, parts car came from out near worcester.
goin to autozone today to see if i can get a ring compressor to finish putting the bottom end together.

well still need a ring compressor so not much done, just got the crank and front timing cover on, along w/ some misc stuff and the new water pump. ill take some pics when i leave but they wont be up till tomorrow.

TuRbO: yea im using the tranny out of the black car, the red one didnt come w/ one, but it was a 5-spd so i dont need anything else.
oh and the suby is my g/f's car.

finally another update. got all the pistons in but i was waiting for my MHG to come in. damn thing only came in a box stuffed w/ shredded paper. luckily it wasnt damaged so im happy. ended up goin w/ a TMS 2.0 MHG found it on ebay $177 shipped to my door. also some pics of my excessively late christmas gift from my mom and pop dukes.

and heres the oil pan gasket that came w/ the "cheap ass ebay kits"

plans include Lex AFM, 550's, 3" exhaust, FMIC, bov, safc for tuning, and bringing the interior to 100%.
just lemme know what you've got for parts, i still need a gauge cluster... i think thats about it.




today got the head on and torqued, cleaned up some misc parts, but really wanna get all this grime off the damn intake mani and all the misc. brackets. i've been using simple green, and a small parts washer but this stuff is really stubborn.

skimp on the AFM and go maft pro get rid of it altogether and for boost control + fuel

lookin good! i'm working on my own NA-T so seein yours come together is making me more and more anxious to get mine moving. i'm glad i don't have to deal with emissions like you guys though

ya, sniffer test in mass suck's.i'll probably just tune mine lean and give it a shot.last year my cammed 1j was off the chart's

Yea im not too worried about emissions, its a fresh motor and if i fail i can replace the cat as soon as a week. im using the factory exhaust off the black 87 BTW.
