knock sensor socket size

Hey,

I know this is a silly question, but I am gonna need to buy a new socket to take it out safely, and dont want to buy the wrong one. What size socket is needed to take off the knock sensor?

Yup. It makes it way easier if the intake plenum and starter are off.

Yeah it does.
pre-89 supras knock sensors are accesible with the starter in place.
I could get to mine too with the motor in..

I have my 92 knock sensors out and they are 24 mm. I used a wrench to take them out. its quite easy to do when the engine is on the stand though .
