With half of your right foot on the brake, roll the ankle to the gas to depress accelerator pedal while removing left foot from clutch, all the while holding adequate pressure to the brake (middle) pedal with your right foot, and also operating the accelerator (right) pedal with your right foot as well, modulating the pressure on the pedal to keep the engine revolutions at a happy place.

sounds abit tricky, or so.. huh ? maybe a little skill involed to do so without stalling out... juggling the right foot like a see saw on bot brake and gas, ....

It's easier once theyre spinning, as long as you keep the ball of your foot on the brake keeping even pressure you can sit there smoking them til your to the rims.

while i'm a fan of heel-toe, you COULD just rev it, dump the clutch, then feather the brake with your left foot immediatly after dumping the clutch. you should have enough power that you dont move forward immediately.

^^Ya that's how I first learned, but I learned in a Camaro and I could take my foot off the clutch, tie my shoe, and then hit the brake, it would sit there spinning forever. I'm glad our cars hook up easier than that.
