oh and btw na supras run what a 16.5? sadly a 4th gen vtec prelude is just as fast as our all powerfull turbo supras stock making almost as much hp out of a 2.2liter 4 cylnder.

let's don't forget how much our Supras weigh:naughty:, in my eyes it's not a racing car:icon_bigg . And you're right, let's blame the makers of fast and furious, everything started after this movie:icon_razz

DAh!! Why does everyone think drag racing is the only kind of racing that exists. NO! An N/A supra would probably lose to a light weight car off the line and down a quarter mile, but make it a longer run and I'd put my money on the Supra. Take a stock N/A Supra and stock Integra to a circuit track or out onto a curvy road and I'm sure the Supra would win and you'd see the little integra understeer into a tree or something

honda acuras are a good platform for somone that dosnt have alot of money.

you mean someone who has a ton of money right?

pretend you have a brand new mkiii off the show room floor with 2 miles on it.

you know how much money itll cost to put that thing into the 13 second range?

remove the exhaust and run open downpipe = free
3-5 washers for 10 pounds of boost = 10 cents maybe?

if you have any driving skills what so ever, you should be able to cut a high 13 second pass like that.

how much do you think itll cost to do that with a new civic with the same amount of miles? a lot more...

Hmmm.... didn't we really talk about drag at this point? what did I quote? Though I thought racing as in every racing, drag or not drag. It's turismo car in my eyes, good looking and durable.

Btw. i'm not in racing, don't like the idea of it. You can get killed easily.:nono:

I'm into racing, but not street racing. Auto X and Track (road racing) ONLY is what I'm into.

You were talking about how you didn't think the supra was a racing car, but then you just said you think it's a turismo car...now I'm confused...

And in real, controlled racing, your chances of dying are far less than street racing. That's what this whole thread was about, how I'm tired of ricers pulling up next to me on the street and wanting to race. It's not only illegal, but a danger to him, me and innocent bystanders. Not to mention I'd go ape-shit if someone hit my car, haha

Hmm...then I don't understand the word turismo then(touring maybe then?). What I ment was just comfortable cruising.:icon_razz I't big and heavy, and sits well on road, and that makes it good, like you said(didn't say anything negative about the weight):icon_bigg
I'd die of someone hit my car:icon_bigg
