I went to the track tonight. I out ran a mustang gt, some kind of silverado, a monte carlo ss, and a Dodge truck w/ hemi. My fastest time was a 8.75 and my slowest was 10.25 because I boosted too much and spun half way down the track. I ran a 9.07, 9.10, 8.75, 10.25, 9.11 .......The last one was against the hemi and I blowed my headgasket. The guy in the hemi was kind enough to go home, get his trailer and haul me home. I had never met him before this night. Real cool dude. Looks like I'll be looking at some headgasket rebuild threads on here. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I'll probably post in the technical discussions also. :ugh: :wtc: :wtc:

What were you driving?

there is no way you'll be able to get away with anwering "supra" to that question without providing extensive proof... (IE VIDEOS OMGWFTFF!BBQ)

*edit* unless of course, you do mean the 1/8th mile... oops

yes it was 1/8 mile. I would have blowed them all away in a 1/4. Every one of them had me by at least a car length at the start. I had every one of them by at least a car at the end of the race.

id like to see a mk III that makes it into the 9 sec range. im just nuts enought to try, but funds and a daily driver make that damn near impossiable.

im not sure 9 seconds will ever happen..

it took 900hp to get a mk3 into mid 10's.

822 or 900...........There's really not that much difference. It's more than 99.7% of us will ever make. I think anything over 820 hp is too freaking much. Not saying I wouldn't take it though. I'd be happy with 350 rwhp. I was making 317 before the tradgedy that is a blown head gasket. Hopefully she'll be better than new when I get finished with her..lol
