kenwood ddx512

looking at a kenwood ddx512 to fill the hole in my dash, anyone have one? opinions?

is there a way to bypass the parking brake video switch? i think it was the kenwood with this feature and seems like an incredible pain in the ass to put the brake on three times while holding the foot brake.

the ddx512 is a nice unit. the bypass is illegal and I CAN'T tell you to just put a switch on it and ground the other end. That would be illegal!

I know alpine use to be the one where you had to apply the foot brake then the E-brake three times while hopping up and down and spinning counterclockwise.

kenwood is the easy one.
