JZX100 Mark II R154

Hey guys,

I've picked up a JZX100 Mark II in Japan, sadly with an auto box behind the 1JZ, I'm hoping to find a gearbox locally (North America being local haha) and am wondering if anyone can tell me what supra came with a similar box?

From my understand the soarer/SC300 that came with the R154 w/ remote shifter? Or did a supra come with one?

I've looked around, and there isnt much about the swaps done using USDM parts, mainly aussies swapping in jzx100 r154s.

Any help would be appreciated!

I believe the difference between the Supras and the Soarer R154 was the shifter housing extension being of different lengths. If you don't find your answer on here, Club Lexus might have more info on the topic.

Yeah the Soarer R154 has the tri-pod shifter. I am assuming you are looking to go auto to manual. If so, the compatible transmission you should look for is a Soarer/Chaser R154. The MK3 transmission is to short.
