so if a stock ic is capable of that much hp at that level, how does it compare to aftermarket of similar size at say 280-300hp? is it about the same? little more? a lot more?
It will allways help but IMHO not worth it at that level, i mean hell i put down 313whp on stock boost with just a full exhaust so thats stock levels.

i wouldnt trust it for anything more than 10psi, theyre arnt the best of cooling cores. their design is completely different to your standard bar and plate
LOL i was running 23psi on them maxing out the stock twins for awhile, true it heatsoaked after a pull or two, but it did fine. At 355-360whp i didnt loose much between pulls on the dyno. I do agree that after a certain point maybe 360-375 it would be a good idea to upgrade, but its not nesseccary.
Plus i deliberatly didnt upgrade my IC, i was running 23psi on the stock twins on stock cams, when i upgraded to crower 272/HKS 264 cams i couldnt boost over 18psi as the turbos now had to spin faster to produce the same boost. Well i was afraid if i got a good IC that flowed alot better than the stocker that i would have to go even lower, most likely it would have cooled better and i could have ran the same pressure.
