Just what I've done in the past couple weeks.

This is just what I've done in the past couple weeks but would be more if money wasn't so tight.

Blacked the letters in the back.

K&N air filter with cheap $15 dollar filter adapter from Pepboys (great but btw)

Little cheap shift knob from Advance Auto Parts because the orginal fell a part basically lol

I need your opinions on something. What do you guys think about painting my wheels black because they need to be repainted?
Its a 91' White Package.

Thanks for the uplifting.
Im only 17 and I pay for gas, insurance, car payments and repairs on this thing so money sucked out of me and well I lost my job along with several others about 3 weeks ago so now I'm job hunting.

I think I got some good pics to put up but how do I post them as not links? but instead just pics?

Try uploading them to a hosting website (ie: photobucket or imageshack), and then copy the img link from there :)

For being only 17, you're doing a great job mate! Just make sure you spend as much as you can on maintenance, and not on silly things to make it look any better :)

I'm 23 and had my Supe for 2 years, and am yet to spend any great deal of money on her... Just maintenance... And my car is thanking me... She has not once yet been off the road due to mechanical issues :) (Hopefully in the latter half of this year she will get a facelift and some performance mods :))

Okay so now I'm in the process of making my own cold air intake. The pipe that is from the TB to the AFM is kind of in a stupid location (right above the exhaust manifold!) but I'm not going to go crazy with the NA setup so I'm thinking about insulating it in some way. Money is tight for the moment but do you think it would be a good idea to spray it with High Heat paint that you use on grills that resist heat up to 1200 degrees?

Also I'm running my filter down behind my foglight, is this a good or bad idea?

The Back 9.
If you strip the nasty leather away from the stock shift knob.
You will be left with a pristine rubber shift knob that is still stock.

EDIT: I tried that high temp paint. I mean the $15 per can paint.
It works no better than the $8 paint and that stuff is trash. You may be far enough away from the heat source but maybe not. If you do it and it deteriorates. You'll be in worse shape than you are now and you'll be kicking yourself.

You get a tax check? I forgot what one of those looks like. Well I guess you have to pay'em to get any back.

Thanks guys for the replies and advice. Yeah the filter looks good and freed up some of the intake but I dont think the filter is the real bottle neck of the intake. Seems like the AFM would be and maybe even the throttle body.
I already know the smushed section of pipe in my exhaust is it's bottle neck right now lol stupid country hick driveway (also the reason why I'm not lowering it for awhile).

Okay so the thing about getting a job has turned out great. I got my touchscreen installed I built a short ram and put the K&N and the adapter on. I'm getting my windows tinted tomorrow with 20% all the way around. Custom exhaust with Apexi N1 muffler in the next two weeks.

Thanks for all the advice and motivation guys.
