cool thanks alot man, and i have wire and good splicers and tape i just need to get some new connectors... what would be the best way to reroute the wires that need fixing?

Ok, Now go to walmart and look for a lil box of these connectors or buy emm seperate. They look just like the ones on this pic.

If you get them seperate then just get the top left 3 and the lower left 3. Also look at your sensors and see wht kind of conections they might need or need replaced. Once you get the connectors depending on the ones you need you can start unpluging and removing the ugly old black tape off the wires. Mine were all cracked and just slowly breaking due to the heat over the past years. Now start cutting the wires you want to replace.... ( Its up to you). Remember to leave a good amount of wire for if anything goes bad. Splice each end and use the top left connectors to reatach with the fresh new wire. To be honest with You, this is all common sense man... Just look at wht you have and wht needs Love like Shaef said to have it look nice and well connected. No wht worries me is the long wire running thru engine... (5) OMGWTFBBQ!? Scotchlocks are the devil- not to mention the routing of that wire altogether...) If you have enough wire then replace it just to be safe and run it under the wire harnest at the front of the head. I went ahead and added to shaefs pics.

Like I said man, Just be patient and careful... And look at wht you are working with before you do any cutting and have a plan to how you will rehook them up. Also, stay away from the tps wires cuz those look okay. There are all kinds of connectors for whatever job you need and you will be ok as long as you leave a nice amount of wire to work with. If you have any questions just ask man... Not a problems :D...

thanks a lot man, i did what you said and got the new connectors and redid that wire and rerouted it behind that piece and it looks better, after i reconnected them i wrapped them in electrical heat tape... just for added protection... its dark now so i cant take ne pics but as soon as i can i will post them up... i am leaving tomorrow for my trip so unless i find some wifi spots i wont be able to get on for almost a week... but as soon as i can i will get updated pics of the car and engine bay all cleaned... im planning on getting the engine steam cleaned when i get to California... ppl have told me that it make the engine look really nice by cleaning all of the surface gunk off... but i will update when i can... thanks for all of the comments and advice it is helpful, but i do have a question... why is everyone telling me to take the decals off the door? i like them... is there a specific reason i should?

Good to hear you fixed the wiring... And my pleasure :). I cant wait to see how it looks but its fine.. No rush hehe. Enjoy your trip. And yeah, a clean engine bay on these cars is a thing of beauty. And about the decals the thing is they are mostly seen on riced up hondas. You kno the loud honda civics with a 3" exhaust and headers.. Yeah the same ones that try to race you on a red light but stay behind really quick. The guys aka ricers driving those cars are the ones who love to put decals on emm... Your car is by no means a ricer car... And I hope you sir are not a ricer :D... If you like emm then keep emm.... Screw what the world thinks but just explaining how some people see it. :D

Did you trace the wire back from there to see where it leads and if the previous owner botched the wiring further upstream? Chances are the guy has "worked his magic" in other areas.

that specific wire leads to the boost controller, and no i havent checked for other areas yet but ur probably right im sure he did and when i get the chance i will check out the bay and see if there are ne other areas that need to be cleaned up.

as for the decal, no im not a ricer lol i hate it when those stupid little civics pull up and try and act hard against a supra... but i put the decals on because i used to play the need for speed underground games a lot and i liked the way some of my cars looked with the decals on one side, it kinda seemed like it gave it a little edgy look... plus i read import tuner and super street and all that jazz and i see cars in there with that on them also and i just like the look of some nice decals on a nice car... once i get everything finished on the car with all the work i want to do to it i am actually gonna change all of the decals from white to pearl blue to match every thing else i am doing in blue...

my goal is to have gunmetal gray paint with a pearl blue metallic flake in the paint with a matching interior and engine bay... but all of that is a long way away... i need lots of money and lots of time lol but hopefully one day it will be finished. and again thanks for all the advice guys it is helping out a lot...

and what do you guys think about putting heat wrapping around my BOV tube? the silver powder coat looks like crap and i either want to wrap it in heat wrapping or get it powder coated to match the 3000 pipe... but idk ne one that will do the powder coating for cheap...

And yeah, I was hoping you werent a ricer lol... I knew you wasant... Judging fully by the fact you drive a car that is actually fast :D.
