iwantmkiii's wheel spins normally then? i've heard they spin a lot faster when removed from the car though, and i can't tell whether or not his is uninstalled in his video.

If it is oil crud in the turbo... what oil do you use? just wondering so i could watch out for it lol

oil from back when this car was made is nothing compared to modern oils...

the sludge could be years and years old...

i can't tell whether or not your CT's still installed. if it's installed it'll spin a lot slower won't it?

For those wondering my turbo IS installed. And as the video shows it spins a good 7-8 seconds with 170K on it :aigo:

I have an extra ct-26 with 80K on it and it doesn't spin as freely, maybe 4-5 seconds tops and its not installed on any vehicle.

well i definitely need a rebuild then cuz mine spins like there's peanut butter in there somewhere. shit. stock ct, no upgrades, no nothin?

lol well you're ahead of a lot of us apparently... at least you don't have to wish you could say it wasn't a POS. if you clean up the one with 80k to make it spin like your installed one i'll buy it :icon_bigg

i use 10-40 cuz the car's older, but after the turbo rebuild i'm goin for synthetic cuz i've heard it's better on boosted cars. then i'll probably be at 10-30 or somethin, i don't even know
