Just got a bhg. Stock engine wit felpro and arp's. Only took 20psi on my MP t64 to do it lol. The good part is during the 3rd gear pull that blew it my a/f was sitting at 11.2 the whole time, finally got the maft pro tuned right.

You can have perfect AFR but if there is too much timing/boost for the octane fuel being used it WILL detonate Alec.Alec;1539457 said:Not to sound like a noob here, but if your A/F ratios are good, why would there be detonation?

I also monitor EVERYTHING and on the new engine with be using active knock sensing/control for the first time.
Never been a big fan of Piggyback controllers due to the way they need to fool the stock ECU into doing something it wouldn’t normally, much prefer to set xx degrees of timing and it means just that!
