Man we have some clueless simpletons here ct26/lag in the same paragraph?

I'm willing to guess it's perceived Lag due to the state of tune of the rest of the car.

JCable: You'll LOVE anything Turbo in a Mk3, I ran my car NA for quite a few years and while it wasn't "quick" it was by no means slow compared to run of the mill standard cars.

Run it against anything even mildly fast and you find 200crank hp in an 3xxx lb car doesn't cut it.

Dunno why I keep hearing people talk aobut loss of low end power with exhaust. Boost = torque, sppol faster and you get torque quicker. I come on boost just over 2K RPM's and by 3 I'm in it pretty deep.

Why you won't have the instant torque response down low of a huge displacement engine, power is only a downshift away

Pretty sure he's speaking from an NA owners standpoint here.

I didn't feel a loss of torque with my exhaust, though my butt dyno did say torque peak moved a little higher up in the rpms.
