ninja Edit The youtube video does mention the Supra and the fact that Lexus and Scion both have Their Sports cars but Toyota is missing one. At least From and North American stand point

I like how it looks from the back for the most part, but I'm not to sure about the front or the mirrors. I like the look from the side with the long hood. I would prefer that they don't name it the Supra if it does make it to production, I think they should leave the name be. But if they do insist on naming it the Supra I think it should at least have an inline 6, rear wheel drive, an available manual gearbox, and a turbo or two available for those who would want it. And no hybrid or anything like that.

You want to create the package that creates buzz with the widest audience. Unfortunately that means automatic. But if it ever makes it to production I'd have to imagine a manual would be a high probability. Maybe even a manual mated to a turbo I6 from that BMW, Toyota joint venture we've been hearing about. One of the notable quotes from an interview with the chief designer was that the proportions of this concept car were exaggerated. So if it were to make it to production expect it to be toned down considerably.

I love it, except for how it looks way too much like an alfa romero in the front, the c7? But it does say the concept car is wider/flashier then what a real production model would be. I was worried about it becoming another overpriced hypercar like the LFA but it sounds like toyota is sticking to their roots and waiting out to make something like the GT-86 practical and affordable.
