i'm bad, i'm nationwide
eh, if its a franchise store keep away from management. The ex-wife managed a franchise store for that really big well-known chain. i would help out every once in a while, and would make more as a casual driver than she did as a manager(not even assistant, but the manager). The corporate stores are a whole different story, they aren't paying 50% of their gross in franchise fees.(those personal pans cost about a quarter to make and they sell 'em for almost 5 bucks?)

but if you look at it this way, i'm really just a glorified delivery guy now, my shift just lasts a little longer...about a month longer.

you made the right call not taking it

Driving is a pretty sweet gig compared to the Asst. managers, almost all my dirvers made more money than me (especially the busy nights).....I hated my job but it was a 2nd part time job soley for supra funds....

I made a few deliveries in my old MKIII N/A, but I had a kid who delivered in a 944 N/A:nono:....the key to making good money driving is gas sipping 4 bangers that you dont mind to beat on.

My post fails: soley should be solely, just noticed it......:3d_frown:

Well, my manager got another complaint about my driving Sunday. I can't deliver pizza anymore. But there is a bright side, he re-offered me the Asst. Manager position and I accepted it. That's right, I've joined the dark side (now with cookies :biglaugh:). I plan on having my own store within the year.

There better be a funny story behind you getting a complaint

I was spinning the tires and weaving through traffic because they wouldn't do the speed limit. Hell, I only drove 5-7 MPH over the speed limit.

Savannah, I only drift the Supra. Although I have pulled the E-brake on the Geo a couple times for shits and grins.

The ebrake on my geo doesn't work too well... Probably a good thing lol It's nice having a do anything car though.

I just stopped delivering last week. I decided, i'd make the geo last since gas is on the rise. I left on a good note in case I ever get desperate for hard cash again.

Good luck with the new position, hopefully it's worth it.
