I can already see it every 1jz supra in Cail is heading to that one smog tech. lol


As for the P.S. reservoir dont' bother buying one from a turbo engine. Once you step up to a larger turbo, it is nice having the PS reservoir right where is it now. You will find out why when that time comes. Just leave it alone and buy a cap for it.

Well since that year Supra came with the Turbo option, the car is still smog legal. If he wanted to swap in, say, a 5mge, it would be illegal. If he swaps in the 2jzgte that he plans (as do I), it's legal, because it's a newer Supra engine.

but NA -> Turbo is still legal. just a PITA because of the trans, and then LSD, etc.

It's only legal if it's a USDM version with all EGR and smog components installed...
