I don't know about you guys but I always get a thin white film over time on the inside of my windshield. Try to clean it with glass cleaner and paper towels and it will make it a million times worse unless you do it 10 times. Its back breaking.

Well i just saw an add for this on late night TV infomercials: Windshield Wonder

http://amazingproducts.tv/windshield-wonder.html

I read many reviews on it so far and all have been very positive. I think i'm going to pick one up. Its only $10+shipping. Not to mention now they'll double your order.

Thought some of you may be interested. I know I was when i first saw it about 10 minutes ago.

Why not just fix the problem and change out your heatercore? ;)

When the heater core leaks, it steams up the window with a slimy residue that's very difficult to wipe clean.

Let me guess: When you go to wipe it down, no matter what chemical you use, it just smears around, right? And after numerous tries, you'll finally get it clean, and later on it'll just come back? Often times it'll get even worse in the rain, especially if you use the heat at all?

Yep, either the heater core, or the two O-rings are leaking:

Heater core: 87107-14170 (the parts store units are fairly good, too- and a LOT cheaper)
O-rings (get two of them): 96711-19016
Extension pipes, if yours are bent even the slightest amount. They're cheap: 87156-14040 and 87156-14030
Clips (get two): 87124-10010

And grab a six pack.

Huh, never had that happen after I'd changed the heatercore out. Worth a shot though!

Damn, you're fast! LOL!

Maybe- could be that it gets significantly hotter there than here in NY. (can't speak for anywhere else)
