Just curious as to what oil pressure you guys are getting on a stock setup

Wiseco: And there aren't really any "seals" in a turbo that can be damaged by high oil pressure (ie no rubber lip type seals)

If you have adequate drain most turbos won't have a problem at 100 Psi.
(again the feed size is important in this as well as it's usually volume that floods the Turbo causing it to smoke)

Modern BB Turbo's have a pair of 1mm restrictions to the bearings.

Thanks 1j , thats put that one to rest for me..lol why did they design them for low pressure, anyone know? surely they must have had a reason.

I think it just got away from them a bit with the number of controlled leaks they added.

I don't think it was ever designed to be low pressure/high volume as people on the net seem to think.
