ok i have a completly stock 87 turbo supra with an k&n air filter just resently every time i start to spool you can hear the turbo but at the same time it makes a whisle noise also and then when i let off the gas it sounds like a ssq bov do i have a problem or is that normale?

well its a brand new motor well it has 30g on it...and if it is the turbo going bad i have a second turbo im waitting to put on it until this one goes out but how hard is it to change the turbo?

i personaly have never put a turbo on so i wouldnt know how hard it was or not i didnt think it would be that hard but i guess we will see
There is nothing hard about getting all of the nuts off. It will take a couple hours your first time to just get every thing off/out of the way to pull the thing off. But, be forewarned that you will have a hell of a time pulling it off if you leave the stock oil lines on the block and remove them from the turbo.
I would recommend just pulling off the oil lines from the block when you pull the turbo so that you can replace the shitty oil lines with the JBL stainless briaded lines. This will save you hours of sweat, cussing, and throwing things.
