Oh, yeah, need to go out and take some pictures of my poor baby. She needs some love. Got a little rusted spot on the front fender. I should definitely document the whole process. So am wondering what to do with the 7M engine lying on the driveway in front of my car . . . oh, the Supra whose engine caught fire was originally white, now black (some kids had it and it was impounded for no insurance, I believe, which is how we found it on craigslist after someone picked it up at auction). groan, they stenciled 'Supra' on the backs of the RV mirrors . . . they'll both have better lives in the next inCARnation, heh heh!!! looking forward to going to PIR! Oh, that's gearcon weekend, so i'll be in my steampunk outfit, not my Supra '100% old school' tank top. just so ya know. (i can hear your eyes rolling, folks.)
Uh, that will be ladylike attire, I assure you. My persona is 'naturalist,' with glasses for birding, sketch pad for drawing wildflowers. But I will really enjoy talking about Supras! Back to my Initial D watching on hulu.
Hope you guys dont mind but I posted the meet on that other supra site. I figure the more the merrier.

The engine was dropped into my car the other day . . . er, night. Motor mounts don't fit quite right though. I have pix on my camera. Got the Megan strut to put in too. Looking forward to meeting people today! Got a tranny cooler ordered and a thermostat. Started reading Chilton's guide to turbocharged cars and trucks. Squeezing all this into GEARCon too! Also trying not to trip over the 18-year-old cat! Keep cool, everybody! I know I won't in a bustle skirt that weighs 5 lbs. eyeroll.
So When I posted this thread I was positive my car would be out of the shop in time for this meet. but of course there was complications and my new engine wont be in till next week. Sadly I wont have my supra for this meet but I will still be coming out to check out everyone else's rides and talk supras.
Aw, that's too bad! At least I can see the picture you have. I'll bring a BIG hanky for all the drooling I'll be doing. :yikes:
Hey! It was great having met Connor, a guy named Bruce that had a DSM coupe and another fellow Supra owner that showed up with his GF Jennifer. I left at 7PM, just as the Late Night Drags was starting. Some really fast cars doing the 1/4mi in the low 9s! :aigo::burnout: Van
gee about a half hour before we showed up and stayed for an hour. saw 2 supras, 1 leaving, and 1 arriving who wasn't a supramania member but knew lots of supra owners showed up there and at least parked where he said everyone seems to park when they do show up. sorry we missed you and everyone else. caps the week off nicely considering all the other stuff (not using the exact word that precisely describes it on a public forum) that the universe seems to be throwing at us lately. eyeroll x10K. maybe next time. and maybe by then i will have met at least one supramaniac in person and have an actual phone number to contact him or her with! i ain't even going back to GEARcon tonight; i've had enough punishment for one day. the official i asked was setting out cones by the entrance did say i was adorable, so that's 1 point out of -912 for the entire last week. oh wait, make that down to -850 since the new engine is actually in the car (as in physically in the car, just not wired in; ooh, the awesome radiator's in too. so i guess it wasn't a TOTAL loss! hope we have better luck next time.

sorry i was not able to show up but i have been battling my 1jz lol and i finally got it to start and idle on its own and im happy it runs perfect now all i need to do is re loom the wire harness put the power steering resivor back in have the battery relocated to the trunk and finish the inter-cooler piping and then hook up my radiator e-fans anyone know if the 1jz has a temp sensor or was that on the hydrolic ecu for the hydro water pump set up ? regardless it should be up and running like new in a week i hope lol you never know with supras
Ill be going to PIR next friday to watch the races. 1st friday night off all summer.

lol not recently i put it up like 2 years ago on the cl but no luck selling so now i slaped a 1jz in it and im going to keep her... plus it had the 7mgte in it and i was pushing 350hp but i bent the crank
