Oh and I got a call from Jose, he was trying to talk but I couldnt understand a word because there was a lot of engine noise in the background. It kept revving and getting louder as he tried to talk. Then it got quiet and he said, what do you think of your new engine? lol...he said it turned over instantly and things sounded great.
Yeah I brought my camera and noticed the lighting there was good but later in the afternoon would have been better. If the strut brace wasnt so shiny, it would have been a really good smooth shot.TaSe said:

thats a nice clean engine bay........... one of these days i gotta check out their operation.... that coolant hose looks pretty cool, with the blue hose and red coolant, almost looks like neon purple

I took the picture because I saw a good opportunity to capture the sunlight on his engine bay one day when I was there. There is a filter and I adjusted a few things for contrast but its the actual image tweaked just slightly. But it captures the true look and beauty of his engine. Its always very clean and well kept.
You can capture photos like this with good lighting at the right time and a decent DSLR camera.

Sorry, the question is not about how nice it looks, but how well it functions and how strong it is. There can be a lot of stresses placed on the strut bar and I was looking to see if anyone knows how durable they are. I dont want to snap one like Jose did lol....but then again I dont drive like he does.

interesting. he snapped one? the general consensus has been that due to the design of the mkiii strut tower bars dont really do much at all.
