Here's one:

Pronounced as one letter,
And written with three,
Two letters there are,
And two only in me.
I'm double, I'm single,
I'm black blue and grey,
I'm read from both ends,
And the same either way.

Seems to apply to the last two lines

Eyes can defiantly be those colors as well. Grey/white on the outside blue in the middle, and black in the center.

I'm double, I'm single,

Eyes, eye works there too.

He died in 1973...so till now he is still 18 years old.
