I think its funny how much stuff costs out in California. In Frago a very nice new house is 130K-200K!! You can still buy a house here for 80k. In some of the small towns in ND you can buy a nice older home for 45k.... Of course the average salary here is like 30-40k.......

Have fun getting and actually keeping a civilian job when you get out.RHDMK3 said:Aside from getting screwed over and forced into a job I never wanted to do, and not being able to tell certain people to go fuck themselves without fear of retribution on my paycheck, etc,.. its not too bad. I'll admit they have given me the opportunity to travel around the world, literally. But the military, I personally think so anyways, has too much control over my life. Yeah I know the beni's are great and whatnot and if I actually had a family I might want to stay in just for that BUT since I dont and I am not happy with the way things have gone for me in the military I plan to get out when my enlistment is over in July. The military can be wonderful for some people but it just isnt for me. I'am tired of having to act like some sort of damn robot and having to be at the mercy of some control freak every time I do something HE/SHE doesnt like!
