So from what Ive gathered to fix this is just spray some WD 40 into the sleeve and let it sit for a while? Im replacing my Guage cluster tomrrow and WOuld like to get this resolved while im at it! It only jitters under 20 mph...

no

the one behind the guage cluster is the long one

the short one is about 2 feet long and attaches to the tranny. Or in other words needs to have the car lifted so you can get under it.

both accessible behind the cluster? no
the upper one is, remove that and pull it through the firewall
unscrew the lower from the transmission
bring them somewhere that you can hang them up overnight and drench it with WD or even just motor oil, allowing it to saturate overnight and get all the way through it.
If you see it in the morning, and there's oil coming out of the bottom of it, you won.
I made a little system, making damn sure plenty of oil flowed through, out of a plastic cup with a 1/8" or so hole in the bottom of it. maybe a bit bigger. it has to be larger than the plastic nub sticking out of the speedo end. Oil will drip down the nub and into the cable.
Poured about a shot glass worth of oil in the cup and let it drip down the cable through the night.

Well this will have to be somthing that would have approx. an hour to do. Should I drench them with WD while they are behind the cluster or not even worry about it. I am gonna remove the cluster once again to put soem Blue LED's in it and I guess I can do it then...

When you remove the cluster, push the cable through the firewall. Prop it straight up in the engine bay and hose some WD-40 in there. it *should* get most of the cable pretty well lubed.

Being on my time constraint I just sprayed some WD40 into the cable housing and hoped for the best.

Not as much wiggle between 0 an 20 but to my horror when I brought her ont he highway she started to JUMP around 50. I brought it to 90 past 85 it was fine.

Did that little highway run a few times and now it seems to be okay. Just needed to wear it in.

Thanks for the help guys!

just fyi or anyone else: auto trans speedo cable is 3pcs not just 2. i replaced my speedo, then the upper cable, then eventually the lower 2 cables, and it finally stopped wiggling.
