Tightening my subframe bolts made a HUGE difference on my car.

Just like tightening the seat bolts, people forget the other maintenance items...

With the roof removed, there is a noticeable amount of flexing. Going from a targa car straight to a hardtop car, you really notice the difference in rigidity.

Oh I am not going to argue there, but I think a bigger deal is made than needs to be.

Well, I bought mine new! It was there from the start. If you read this Car & Driver review, you will note that they complain about the "noticeable loss of stiffness when the body's keystone is removed."

Has anyone ever driven a targa Mk3 when they were NEW? Just wondering if they came from the factory with the targa wobble annoyance. If not, then all new bushings, door hinges, etc, might solve it.

yes they did if you look closely it hard to tell but you can see it wiggle
