JE piston ring sets are out of stock! can i use other brands?

ok so im rebuilding my motor and i have .20 over JE's. On the website it says that JE is out of 7m .20 over piston rings. now the specifications of the rings are listed, so could i just go to a different company and custom order a set?

Or do you have any other suggestions?

You can order a set through Suprasport, it just takes some time- my set took 3-4 weeks to arrive from JE when Tyler ordered 'em up! Well worth the wait, IMO.

Any ring pack that uses the same thickness will be fine.

Steer away from Moly filled rings though, ditto on Hard Chromed.

And if JE is out of stock, idk how supra sport would get them from JE faster than if I just waited, unless they have some at their store already.

Going for 600 whp if that makes a difference.

I'd put money on them not stocking them, but if JE got an order for rings I bet they could make a set for ya

I suspect the same was the case when I ordered my rings, I just never cared what JE's site said- I needed rings so they got ordered, however long that would take!
