I know on JDM 7MGE's you have to swap out the intakes so it will pass emissions testing. Does the same apply for 7MGTE? I'm actually tossing around the idea of converting my N/A to turbo.
The intake manifolds will swap...you will have to cut the retaining pin off the brake booster fitting to make it point to the rear of the car. The EGR fitting mounting holes are all there, it is blocked off with a plate. Of course you will need a USDM EGR valve to mount to the manifold and head.

Or.....You could go with another block-off plate at the head, and just be without an EGR. Read up on the pros and cons, and make that decision. I had my 90 blocked off with no problems, but read enough to make me want to think about changing it back, but now it doesn't matter. I don't have inspection here in Alabama.
