What you're referring to is the vac source for the EGR VSV on top of the TB...USDM has 2 there, JDM has 1 (for the BOV). T If you have removed the EGR, the one for the BOV is all you need.

Now it looks like I just need a bracket for the kick down cable, instead of a complete TB.

Where did you get that motor and how do you know it's JDM?
Just so you know, it's a crap shoot installing a used engine...especially one you don't know the history on.

First off, the engine is a USDM and not a JDM. The previous owner blocked off the EGR ports, so with the EGR blocked off; I figured that I could run either a USDM or a JDM TB will little hassle.

The engine was purchased from another member on here, and from what I was told of the engine; It sounds like there should be a lot of life left on this engine. I know that the lower end has been gone through, as there's a remanufactured plate stamped into the block; and some heat tabs stuck onto some of the freeze plugs.
