JDM taillights are the same as USDM taillights, the only difference is actually the paint on the center section, and the reflective plastic on the inside of the tails, not the outer housings..

JDM bulb holders DO NOT have the wiring for rear side markers, so you'd have to source a USDM set if you want to keep it all functional, but physically it'll plug in and work without a problem..

another thing, your taillights may come with hard, ribbed, plastic center trim instead of the USDM rubber, that is JDM only trim, and won't match anything USDM, but you can paint it easier (I have this trim on my JDM taillights)

You know where I can find the rear side marker delete moldings?

hey fello JDM tail guys...don't forget the 2 extra studs on the far left and right of the center piece...there's no holes in the body for those to go through...so you decide to either drill holes or cut off the studs. thats the only issue that hasn't been said.

That's only true for pre-89's. Actually not just when installing JDM taillights, even USDM's require the two extra holes drilled when installing on pre 89's

This might help. This is a pic I took of the difference. Long story short, I already had JDM's on my sup. but didnt find out till I bought another set of u.s. spec tails.

JDM is on the bottom ;)

I didn't know JDM tails come with the gray trim, mine is black.
