are the JDM/EURO foglights just an amber bulb? If so, I am in Germany for 3 more weeks, I could pick up a grip of them from a parts store out here.

yea, i was lucky that when i bought my car it already had a set. i thought it was just yellow bulbs inside and i found out about it after i tried to put in new bulbs lol!

here you can kinda see the little yellow lense/ cover thing over the bulb in this pic of my old car.

Amber insert and a clear bulb.

I broke that insert (glass) and now i'm happy having clear fogs :)

why not just try to find some yellow bulbs or actually buy a set of JDm fogs. :biglaugh:

just a thought as it might be easier than covering regular ol bulbs with something yellow.

buying yellow bulbs will not give you that "jdm" bright yellows...it will give you dull yellow...because i have them on my car right now.

buying a set of jdm fogs is very pricey, hard to find...at least for me that it is.

There has to be something out there that we could cap with to make it that bright yellow effect!

try re-wiring the fogs using thicker gauge wire, and a relay mounted near the battery, with higher watt bulbs (i'm using 100w). :) mine are significantly brighter than they ever were using the stock wiring (even before the 100w bulbs). i used the stock switch to cut the ground for the relay, and it works flawlessly. i love it. :)
