i know the differences with the oil pan and all that, but is there a difference in performance?? canadian or jdem? or is it the same, whats up? anyways im talking about 7m-ge engine. my orginal was ofcourse canadian, then the water pump blew. then i got a jdm, it blew 5 months later on my way to orlando from miami for chrsitmas. i let my brother drive the last 2nd half, while i was sleeping i started to here a , "clack clack clack", i look at the cluster i got 0 oil pressure!!!!! 5 seconds later a piston rod goes through the bottom. we got stuck in the middle of nowhere with a dead supra. then i have i got my current engine. i thought i should share this story..... so back to my original question..... is there a performance difference?
