This may be totally stupid, however if it helps someone in the end it's all good. I saw this product in my summit racing catalog for a big block chevy and laughed a bit, here's why.

It "looks" identical to the J-tube block off that JBL and others sell. I already have one and I think it was like $20 FYI. Some of you already know you can just leave your ugly J-tube on the block after ugprading your FPD line too but that isn't the discussion here :)

This being only $2.88 for the plate and gasket I was curious if anyone tried this and if it would fit? Just thought I'd throw this out if anyone is willing to spend $2.88 the next time they order from summit to try LOL. It may save some folks some $$ who knows.

My brother has one of those on his Mustang, I'll pull it off his block and see if it fits on mine. I'll probably do it sometime before the end of the week.

It is exactly the same guys. I bought one of these thinking it was a nice thick piece from HPF and it was the exact same chevy block off flange the ysell at Canadian tire by my house. Only difference is I paid HPF about $15-$20 US for it rather than $5-$10 Canadian. I'm not even using it tho! I got another one from a supra buddy, much thicker and I like thickness.

Why not just remove the J-tube from the stock plate. Cost = free

It is a universal FP mount... Chevy/Ford/Dodge all use that mount. So does toyota. That J tube plate is just a block off from the leftover hole from the carbed m series engines. That being said, I am using an anodized red billet 1/2 thick one that came from a BB chevy. My friend gave it to me. It was about a $30 peice made by CSI
