i dont know if anyone has this for a thread, sorry if they do...but how does a carbon fiber hatch sound? wouldnt that be great?! and then you can get more cf panels to reduce the wieght! awesome!!!

Yeah, this has been discussed before! A geat idea none the less, but i beilive some CF experts said it would be a REDICULOUS amount of money.

Too bad c/f is in shortage.
Having a hood, hatch, headlight buckets, etc in CF is fine, but I dont think it'd be too bright to try to have more panels made, unless you're going for a trailer only car. All c/f car = death for certain if hit hard.

How about we start small and have Duane make us up some C/F doorsill plates? Great idea I've been thinking up personally. Or even some aluminum ones with "SUPRA" in...say Red, Blue, Black, or a custom color for extra $$$
I would pay a real pretty penny for a Carbon fiber dash "insert" were the shifter and headunit are housed!
i think ron was making some of those dashes custom to fit whatever you pleased, whether it be a double-din screen or your two apexi meters, whatever you wanted. not sure if it was ron, but i do know someone was making that stuff. same guy that was making the pillar pods out of cf and fiberglass.

Been done. Suprasport did the steel door sil plates, you could get plain, or MK3 or SUPRA engraved into them. $65/pair iirc
Duane did the CF ones and they are on his personal car. He spoke of not doing them again also.

wait a minute...ok this may sound stupid, but what about light wieght glass, like its strong as heavy glass but light weight, or fiberglass...but i dont think so, not on a daily driver...
