Ive found some stock and some bends of 4inch pipe at a local diesel shop and the price for the whole turboback is gonna be about $200 so here comes the volume I'll post a vid when it's all done..is anyone on here currently running 4inch??

Yep, but it's not the made from shoddy bends at a muffle shop. Check out horsepowerfreaks.com's Goliath exhaust system. 4" MANDREL bent baby! I know of at least one member on here with it, he also posted a video of it on his car (it was one of the big HP guys on here, maybe Nate), I'm just too lazy to search it for ya.
Even if it WAS crush bent, it would be head and shoulders above a 3" mandrel system as long as the bends were kept to a minimum.
But he mentioned he found bends at a diesel shop, and they're always mandrel.

Damn, I wish there was a diesl shop nearby, I don't have a cat back yet, but it really would help THAT much going from a 3" test pipe to 4" exhaust right?
On a turbo engine, the faster you can get the exhaust out, the better.
You may not NEED a 4" exhaust, but if you plan on making big power at some point, I'd just jump right to 4"

Exhaust is only as good as it's smallest restriction...so from 3" test to 4" the rest of the way back isn't going to do anything for you.
That's what I figured, I'd just be wasting money. My goal is in anywhere in between 400-500. A full 3" turbo back should handle that.

Im running DP only right now, and I hate it, all the sound is right under you, it smells, and it wants to backfire. plus i didn't notice any performance increase. That could be cuz im at stock boost though.
Anyway, Im gonna go 3" probably HKS or Tanabe as soo as I have the cash.
I'm running a cooleze down pipe with his test pipe... Nothing after that, I agree that it sounds like shit until you stomp it, then it sounds a lot like a DDP. I'm pretty sure that I'll lose some power when I finally get around to putting a cat back on, but I'll sacrafice a HP or two for better sound .
.I'm running stock all the way back other then gutting the first 2 cats...it sucks but funds are major low...can't wait for tax time!
