51 is not "norm". Its an improperly calibrated TPS. Take it off and check it, as your TPS is more than likely bad anyway if it hasn't been replaced before. Be sure it springs back to closed position easily and smoothly, if not the ECU will think you're giving it throttle when you aren't. This won't completely cause the car to stop working but it certainly won't help your issue. Also, even if the spring works, there still may be dead spots, its worth replacing if you haven't before.

OOh ok the car car hasnt been started in o im gussing 5 years due to the info im getting off the tag im just tryrig to get it to run. but with the carb cleaner it did not miss it purred like a kittien. i got happy pants lol!

Ok its alive!!! I have it running. alittle ruff a tune up and some other stuff and i think it will be ok. Thank you you to all that helped out even to you jetjock sry i think i got off the wrong way my bad. i will keep you up dated on new threads about it. LIKE I SAID THANK YOU TO ALL!!!!!
