Well, I guess it's about time for an update.
The supra is down at the moment, in many many pieces, but this same engine is still her heart and was running strong.
Things that are changing this time around
1 The entire fuel system
Fuel cell in custom made trunk floor, Stainless steel hardline run all the way to the engine bay, -6 from stainless to fuel rail, in the back I have an aeromotive A1000 with braided steel -10 an coming from the tank up to pump. The injectors will now be 850s and I have added an Aeromotive FPR.
2 The turbo
GT3540 Non Ball bearing center section, SS autocrap manifold, custom 4 inch downpipe
3 The intercooler and plumbing
The intercooler is a 25X12X4 now, with 3" inlet and outlets. I will have mandrel bent aluminum intercooler piping in 3" when I get done making all of it.
4. The intake manifold
I am having a good friend of mine make an intake manifold that is similiar to ron R's short runner, except he is also building new runners for it.(if this turns out nice, we may sell them to the community).
My new goal is 650 whp.....
I plan on reaching it very soon, and shortly after there may be a new goal that involves replacing those stock rods with something a little......stronger.
