basicly the wider the wheel base and the lower the center of gravity the more stability the car has when at high speeds. Also the more somthing weighs the more stabile it will feel at high speeds (120 in a supra vs 120 in a 240) what feels like it is more stable....the supra its heavier,wider,and lower to the ground in most cases

You do realise "wheelbase" is between front and rear wheels? ie: "longer"

Track is between wheels on the same axle hence "wider"

No.

Downforce and areodynamics control high speed stability, not wieght. A 4400lb chevy silverado at 160km/hr gives new meaning to the definition "flying"... the steering wheel feels like it's not connected to the power steering. However, my ~3500lb supra feels like a slightly brisk sunday drive at 160.

Shape and engineering provide stability, not weight... weight is static, downforce is not. Most cars designed for high speed increase in wieght substantially at higher speeds, as you know. The weight of a vehicle at rest has nothing to do with its highspeed handling. The comparison of the 240 vs the supra is valid on the part of soddy wind tunnel engineering by nissan :biglaugh:

Wide tires are good in the rear.

Just don't try to turn any corners, cheif.

No, my motorcycle can out handle my supra.

then you're supra sucks ass because cars have downforce bikes don't cars also have 4 flat patches on the road, bikes have 2 narrow strips, you can lose traction a lot safer in a car too.

my friend tried to prove me wrong by taking my mk4 out on the freeway in a corner around 110mph, he slowed down to 60 before he hit the wall
