Get use to it, As an owner of a 7M'd car, you'll be constantly second guessing the state of your Head Gasket :D.

You said earlier that the car has had the HG redone with a HKS unit and ARP studs, do you have the receipts to prove this? It could be possible that the previous owner told you a little white lie...

To the OP, I couldnt see your video(dial up internet for me:cry:), so thats why I jumped to BHG conclusion. And you never posted you had the metal head gasket.

Besides I didn't say your car had a bhg, I just told you to read up on the BHG's.

Shhh, I don't want people to know I am a nice guy.:biglaugh:

EDIT: JJ, would a bottle of heet be a good thing in weather like this? Or is it a waste of money?

You're too nice to be doing the job you want to. Expect to end up like me ;)

HEET? Is that the remove water stuff? Some kind of alcohol right? Couldn't hurt I guess. In aviation we sometimes try and leave the tanks full to avoid condensation space and use a similar additive for jet fuel. It's a lot colder up there though. I guess I can see it being needed in a car. I dunno. Seems my climate has left me at a loss...

Yeah I know you weren't saying I had BHG I was just saying that people jump to that conclusion right away with these cars and I can see why. And yeah it was the previous owner that told me it had a MHG. How can you find out FOR SURE if the head gasket has been changed? Would you have to actually take off the head and take a look at the head gasket or is there an easier way?

I would recommend avoiding HEET like the plague. Alcohol and fuel pumps do not mix very well (ask anyone who owns a non E-85 GM car and has put E-85 in).

Also, if those are the original catalytic converters that are functioning spot on! You should take them off your car and sell them to me! (Or anyone else that gets rid of there cats for that matter!)

Water out the tailpipe is a great sign. Look at it from a chemical standpoint really quick...Fuel in its most basic of chemical formulas is HC (or a hydrocarbon molecule) then you add oxygen 02. So HC +O2= C02+ H2O. (yes I know my chemical formula isnt balanced) If the combustion chamber were a perfect world, all's you would get out of the tailpipe is Carbon Dioxide and Water.

^^^ I was about to post that.

LOL. Basically when hot air with a high moisture content (from the combustion process) hits cold air, it creates the fog. If it's cold enough to blow fog from your mouth, it's normal for your car to do the same.

Hey guys I got another problem loll. My wipers aren't working when I want to use them normally but they work when I push the little button and the wipers go up and down twice. When I try to use them normally like I would if its raining or snowing, they don't work. The wipers work perfectly so I know its not the motor but they dont work normally. Is there some odd way to turn these wipers on or am I going to have to repair something? Any ideas what it could be? All help or even comments are appreciated. I made a thread about this too but then I remembered about this thread and I thought I would post here too since there are so many people that seem to be interested in this thread lol.

Yeah, it's pretty tricky. First, you need to turn the ignition on. Then, do a dance around the car while shaking a bag full of chicken bones and singing "Salam Untuk Dia". Finally, pull the blinker switch down. They should work....:sarcasm:
Really, I have no idea. Just thought JJ's reference was funny and couldn't wait to use it myself. Sorry about not answering your earlier question about my car. It is pretty much stock. My last dyno showed 23x?whp. But that was three years ago. You could start another thread. It might get some better results. Good luck! :icon_bigg
