Is this how I upgrade to a 57 trim for my ct26?

Funny thing, that's literally how it's done on the 7.3 Ford/International Diesel. My friend did the same to his '03, and that was the instructions. Still runs, but I had and still have serious doubts... lol

I could see it working if the components are zero balanced, but still a bit wonky with the impact... As the wheels themselves are threaded, the nut isn't going to be out of balance, so it's certianly going to be more balanced than someone trying to do this on a CT.

Nah don't need any of those fancy torque wrenches or balancers......:nono:

No wonder so much of the hack shit that goes on here at SM is praised...

It's okay, he used a half inch impact. Anything else would just spin the shaft.

The part where he says "If it rubs it's not on far enough" highlights just how much of a hack this is, direction of rotation will tighten it but there's a torque spec for a reason and I'm against spinning a Journal bearing Turbo dry at the best of times...

Not sure if your post was tongue in cheek/sarcasm but man that's an ugly thing to do to a precision machine..:nono:

Oh yes, I was being very sarcastic. At one point during the video he said something that my quote vaguely resembled :-D
